Rehabilitation completion of 220kV Pha Lai TL - Hai Duong TPP branch line

At 2pm on May 2nd 2021, in Chi Linh city, Hai Duong province, the Northern Power Project Management Board cooperated with the relevant agencies to organize the acceptance, and power connection for rehabilitation project of the 220kV Pha Lai Transmission Line – Hai Duong Thermal power Plant branch line (section from Pha Lai Thermal power Plant to the connection point for turning the Hai Duong Thermal power plant). In this project, the investigation consultancy services and preparation of Feasibility Study report were provided by PECC1.

This project is the energy project of special grade, group B with total investment of approximately 86 billion VND. The Client is EVN National Power Transmission Corporation EVNNPT). The Northern Power Project Management Board is assigned to manage and implement the project. The Power Transmission Company 1 shall take over the operation management after completion of power connection.  

In this project, all existing conductors are replaced with superheated wires with higher load bearing capacity; the insulation, accessories are also replaced; the lightning conductor for feeders 273A80 - 283A8.25 is re-stringed; tower foundation is improved and the tower’s height is raised up for positions 19 and 25 of feeders 273A80 - 283A8.25.
The rehabilitation project of the Pha Lai 220kV T/line - Hai Duong Thermal Power plant branch line is a key project of the National Power Transmission Corporation to release  the capacity of Hai Duong Thermal Power Plant when this plant is come into operation, meeting the load growth demand for socio-economic development of Hai Duong province and ensuring stability for the power transmission system.
