Mr. Le Minh Tuan - Head of Local Energy Development Consultancy Department - said that specialized reports of this project are prepared by PECC1, even the design for construction drawings and the review of equipment dossiers, and PECC1 also supervised equipment procurement/manufacture and supervising on quality, quantity, schedule, labor safety and environmental protection during construction process. With high qualified, enthusiastic and experienced engineers, PECC1’s engineers have completed the project on schedule and, together with the continuous efforts of the EPC Contractor and subcontractors have put the project into operation right on the new year 2020.
The 500kV switchyard of Long Phu Power Centre
The project is built aiming at transferring capacities of the three power plants i.e. Long Phu 1 (2x600 MW), Long Phu 2 (2x1000 MW) and Long Phu 3 (2x1000 MW) belonging to the Long Phu Power Centre into the National power system at 220kV and 500kV voltage levels.
The 500/220kV switchyard of Long Phu Power Centre is connected to Long Phu 1 Thermal Power Plant (TPP) through the 500kV, 220kV transmission lines to the step-up transformer and the plant auxiliary transformer, connected to the transmission line through the 500kV Long Phu - O Mon T/L and the 220kV Long Phu - Soc Trang T/L and 220kV Long Phu - Can Tho T/L.
